Programs & Services

Our referral-based programs and services support the well-being of those in our community by helping people reconnect with their culture, language, and traditions.

Referral Process

Who can make a referral?
  1. Any community member/parent/guardian can make a self-referral for programs and services they want to access.
  2. Any community member, department, school, or service provider with a concern about the well-being of a child or community member.
  3. Any department, service provider, and/or school wanting to make a referral for a program or service on behalf of a child or community member.
A Social Worker or Service Provider, or Program Manager/Facilitator will follow up:

Depending on the nature of the referral, a Social Worker, Service Provider, and/or Program Manager/Facilitator will follow up.

Continuous Intake & Cohort-Based Programs

Continuous Intake Programs include Headstart and Weckuwaponihkuk.

Cohort-Based Programs require a minimum of five (5) referrals to launch a new cohort. Program facilitators will contact participants with details once coordinated.

How to Make a Referral

There are two types of external referral forms:

(1) in the event a person first-hand witnesses any type of harm or risk to a child/community member

Any community member, department, service provider, or school with a concern about the well-being of a child or community member completes the External Referral Form and submits one of the following ways:

(a) Email referrals@tobiquecfsa.com,
(b) Call the Main Office during regular business hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 4:30pm at (506) 273-5405,
(c) Visit the Main Office and ask to speak with a Social Worker

Outside of regular business hours, weekends, and holidays: please contact After Hours Emergency Social Services (AHESS) at 1-800-429-9799

(2) self-referral from a community member or referral from a department/service provider/school for a service and/or program offered by TCFSA Inc.

Any community member wanting to make a self-referral, and/or external department/service/school wanting to make a referral on behalf of themselves or a service user to one of our programs/services submits the External Programs & Services Referral Form in one of the following ways:

(c) Visit the Main Office and ask to speak with a Social Worker
